HALF-BOAT HALF-HIKE
from the Port of Bouziès

The HIKING cruise is a one-way 1-hour boat trip with the possibility of completing the other portion on foot via the famous cliff-side towpath in Bouziès (1 to1.5-hour hike along a flat, marked and shaded trail). A wonderful opportunity to experience the area from two complementary perspectives. Boat there and hike back, or the other way around - you decide!

The boating portion of your excursion will take you back in time aboard a traditional gabare, while the hike will plunge you into the fauna and flora of the River Lot and give you a chance to get a closer look at the manual locks.

This unique Nature experience is very popular among families, as well as hikers eager to explore this section of the road of Santiago de Compostela.

The HIKING Cruise departures are as follows :

Du 27 juin au 13 juillet tous les jours à 10H30 au départ de Bouziès et à 11H30 au départ de Saint-Cirq-Lapopie.
Du 14 juillet au 28 août en semaine à 10H, 13H30 et 16H30 au départ de Bouziès et à 11H, 14H30 et 17H30 de Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. Le dimanche en haute saison, seuls les départs du matin (10H30 de Bouziès, 11H30 de Saint-Cirq-Lapopie) sont assurés.
Du 29 août au 4 septembre tous les jours à 10H30 au départ de Bouziès et à 11H30 au départ de Saint-Cirq-Lapopie.

Booking ahead is highly recommended as the number of passengers aboard is limited. Adult rate: 14 € - Child rate (ages 3 to 12): 9 € - Infant rate (ages 0 to 2): Free

It is advisable to arrive 20 to 30 minutes before departure. To park, there are two communal car parks in Bouziès (€3 per day) and one at the Saint-Cirq-Lapopie nautical stop (€6 per day). The company reserves the right to modify or cancel departures for technical, meteorological or safety reasons.

The PASS Sanitaire is not necessary to board our boats. Remember, however, your protective mask. Thank you.
