The HIKING Cruise from Saint-Cirq-Lapopie offers a one-way boat trip lasting 1 hour from the Saint-Cirq marina to the river port of Bouziès. The return journey is on foot, at your own pace, along the Bouziès towpath (allow 1 to 1½ hours; the path is flat, signposted and shaded). Popular with families, this package combines two activities in one: the boat trip and the walk along the towpath from Bouziès to Saint-Cirq, both of which are must-see attractions in the area. You’ll discover the cut section of the towpath and its extraordinary bas-reliefs, the manual locks at Porte-Roques and Ganil, the hilltop village perched atop its rocky outcrop, and many other wonders besides.
The HIKING Cruise is also available departing from Bouziès, still following the ‘half-boat, half-walk’ concept – it’s up to you to choose the option that suits you best.

The HIKING Cruise from Saint-Cirq (duration: 1 hour) departs from the Saint-Cirq-Lapopie boat landing stage and arrives at the Bouziès river port.
Departure days and times vary depending on visitor numbers and the season; please check our online timetable, which is updated in real time.
Advance booking is strongly recommended as the number of passengers on board is limited.
We advise arriving 30 minutes before departure. For parking, the Saint-Cirq-Lapopie marina has a municipal car park.
Boarding takes place on the wooden jetty at the entrance on the left-hand side of the marina, before the beach, just behind the Camping de la Plage.

Pets are welcome on board provided they are kept on a lead.
Prams are permitted provided they are folded away and stored under the bench.
Telephone bookings (for payment on board on the day) are accepted for groups of up to 10 people; for larger groups, bookings must be made online.
